Heaven – Our Final Destination

| In today’s feast of the Ascension, Jesus makes his permanent home in heaven.  As his followers, we are also destined to make heaven our final home.  However, the world in which we live bombards us with the idea that our lives here on earth are Paradoxically, the more we keep this in mind, the more enjoyable this life becomes, as G.K. Chesterton once said: “As soon as I accepted that I was not meant to be happy in this world, then I began to be happy”.  The truth So on this feast of the Ascension, let’s strive to fix our minds and hearts on heaven, our final destination.
