Lent is the time in the Church when we prepare for Jesus’ Suffering, Death & Resurrection. The purpose of Lent is to help us grow in our faith and become spiritually stronger. We have the opportunity during Lent to spend time in the desert with Jesus…

Ash Wednesday Mass February 14th - 9:00am and 7:00pm

Join us for the Stations of the Cross every Friday at 6:30pm during Lent.

What's the purpose of Lent?

Prayer, Fasting & Alms Giving…

During this time of preparation, the Church asks us to cultivate a deeper friendship with God through PRAYER, to control and reorder our desires for physical goods through FASTING, and to show our love in the concrete way of GIVING ALMS.

Do Lent Right…

Fr. Mark-Mary gives some practical advice on how to do Lent differently this year. It begins with having the right mindset. Namely, we ought to remember that Lent is a time to establish a deeper relationship with God. It facilitates conversation with the Lord, making it easier to grow in intimacy with him.

Picking a Thing for Lent…

We can easily fool ourselves into thinking strictness equates to holiness. Likewise, we can fall into the trap of thinking that the easiest thing will be the most helpful. What do I really need to do or give up for Lent?
LENTED RESOURCES ON FORMED: FORMED is excited to present curated content to help the Church journey through this Lenten season. In this collection are resources to help the faithful deepen their understanding of various Lenten days, practices, and devotions. You can find resources on prayer, the mystery of Christ’s Passion, the roots of Holy Week found in Judaism, and many things to help guide the faithful through the holiest days in our liturgical year—the Triduum. We pray that all of these resources draw us deeper into the mystery of Lent, Holy Week, and the Triduum as we look forward to the joy of the Resurrection.
