Next STEPS on your journey of faith – Step 3 – Engage in a Small Group

| As you may know, we are using our “Next STEPS” booklet as our itinerary, our discipleship GPS for a 5 week series. Through this series, we will discuss, in a practical way: what it means to put our faith in action, and what means – in a concrete way – to be a disciple of Christ.

Step 3 – Engage in a Small Group

Pastor Rick Warren says that every church member should be able to name 3 or 4 people in their congregation who they are looking out for, and vice versa. This is what it means to be a true disciple of Jesus. None of us can walk the path of discipleship alone. That’s not how we’re made. God created each of us to be part of a family, and he wants to save us as a family.

This weekend we discussed the importance of putting our faith into action in the context of a small faith group, and are inviting all parishioners to join us for a Small Group Open House, on Tuesday March 26th at 7pm.

At the open house, we’ll connect you with a group so you can experience first hand what happens at a small group, and then see if it could be the right Next STEP in your faith journey at this time!
